The House

The House. I dream I am in the house. A house I have never been to, the grand Victorian house where my Grandad grew up on Debdale reservoirs in Gorton, Manchester. The reservoir keeper’s house. In this project I explore the longing for a house I can never go to. Exploring the narratives from my grandad’s childhood, using critical fabulations to fill the gaps. Trying to understand the genius loci which draws me to the area. Using various mediums I investigate the dreams and their content.
